The ABI series of accumulator head extrusion machines is suitable for producing a huge range of products; containers from 10 litres to 1000 litres, air ducts, automobile components, tables and any other hollow articles required.

  • Powered extruder position adjustment
  • Double reduction helical gearbox with speed control
  • Independent hydraulic systems for clamping and injection
  • Accumulator head with four spiral channels, ensuring high quality, stress free parisons
  • Fast and clean colour changes
  • Gripper unit to transfer products from clamp to de-flashing area
  • Clamp units with no tie bars
  • Entire clamping unit can slide out and away from the die head for easy mould changes
  • Clamping stroke controlled by proportional valve and accumulator
  • Maco 6000 controller with 100 point parison thickness control and servo valve achieves very high quality

  • Extruder with barrier flight screw, grooved feed screw or maddock mixing head
  • BT clamping unit - hydraulic movement via rack and pinon with backlash elimination gears
  • LK clamping unit - four, six, or eight synchronous cylinders with electronic/hydraulic control and locking system
  • Custom made blow pin units to meet specific requirements
  • Double station clamping units
  • In-line post cooling units can be added to decrease the machine cycle time
